The R3 range is one of the lightest series of high performance alpine ski boots ever offered. R3 models utilize a Next Gen 3-Piece Cabrio architecture which has been developed using advanced CAD design, 3D prototyping and cutting edge polymers which results in a boot that offers exhilarating performance while being low mass and ultra-light weight. All R3 freeride models utilize a hike cuff and are equipped with a unique and light weight 50 mm powerstrap top buckle closure providing the ability to quickly and easily tighten the boot top while also increasing stride range of motion when opened. Roxa?s 45 degree ?Heel Lock? instep buckle securely holds the heel in all phases of skiing and hiking. R3 freeride models also incorporate an innovative cable buckle forefoot closure that provides evenly distributed pressure for excellent foothold and comfort in a light weight design that does not need to be fully unclasped to get in and out of the boot. All R3 models are built using Roxa?s 99 mm BioFit CM last which is an anatomic mold last with pre-formed relief in the most common fit ?issue? areas providing an outstanding and versatile fit. All 2022 R3 models come equipped with the ?EASY-STRIDE? top buckle which increases stride range when in the open position. Also of note is a stunning laser etching treatment to the shell and cuff of all R3 models.
